Verse one is based upon [[John 13:34 (WEB)| John 13:34]] - [[John 13:35|John 13:35 (WEB)]], verses 2 - 4 are believed to have been adapted from [[John 15]] and [[1 Corinthians]] 13 by Fr. Aniceto Nazareth from St. Pius College, Goregaon, Mumbai, India.
