Apologetics: Genesis 11.8-9
Text
So Jehovah scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off building the city. Therefore was the name of it called Babel; because Jehovah did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did Jehovah scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth. (Genesis 11:8-9) |
For God is not a God of confusion, but of peace. . . . (Corinthians 14:33) |
Problem
Paul says God is not the author of confusion, but God purposefully confused the people of Babel.
