Hebrew ויגש אליהו אל־כל־העם ויאמר עד־מתי אתם פסחים על־שתי הסעפים אם־יהוה האלהים לכו אחריו ואם־הבעל לכו אחריו ולא־ענו העם אתו דבר׃
Greek και προσηγαγεν ηλιου προς παντας και ειπεν αυτοις ηλιου εως ποτε υμεις χωλανειτε επ' αμφοτεραις ταις ιγνυαις ει εστιν κυριος ο θεος πορευεσθε οπισω αυτου ει δε ο βααλ αυτος πορευεσθε οπισω αυτου και ουκ απεκριθη ο λαος
Latin Accedens autem Elias ad omnem populum, ait : Usquequo claudicatis in duas partes ? Si Dominus est Deus, sequimini eum : si autem Baal, sequimini illum. Et non respondit ei populus verbum.
