Hebrew וישב המלך על־מושבו כפעם בפעם אל־מושב הקיר ויקם יהונתן וישב אבנר מצד שאול ויפקד מקום דוד׃
Greek και εκαθισεν ο βασιλευς επι την καθεδραν αυτου ως απαξ και απαξ επι της καθεδρας παρα τοιχον και προεφθασεν τον ιωναθαν και εκαθισεν αβεννηρ εκ πλαγιων σαουλ και επεσκεπη ο τοπος
Latin Cumque sedisset rex super cathedram suam (secundum consuetudinem) quæ erat juxta parietem, surrexit Jonathas, et sedit Abner ex latere Saul, vacuusque apparuit locus David.
KJV And the king sat upon his seat, as at other times, even upon a seat by the wall: and Jonathan arose, and Abner sat by Saul's side, and David's place was empty.
