Hebrew כי גם אם העצבתי אתכם באגרת אינני מתחרט גם כי התחרטתי לפני מזה בראותי כי האגרת ההיא העציבה אתכם ואף אם לשעה׃
Greek οτι ει και ελυπησα υμας εν τη επιστολη ου μεταμελομαι ει και μετεμελομην βλεπω οτι η επιστολη εκεινη ει και προς ωραν ελυπησεν υμας
Latin Quoniam etsi contristavi vos in epistola, non me pœnitet : etsi pœniteret, videns quod epistola illa (etsi ad horam) vos contristavit,
KJV For though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not repent, though I did repent: for I perceive that the same epistle hath made you sorry, though it were but for a season.
