He killed an Egyptian, a goodly man: and the Egyptian had a spear in his hand; but he went down to him with a staff, and plucked the spear out of the Egyptian's hand, and killed him with his own spear.

Hebrew והוא־הכה את־איש מצרי מראה וביד המצרי חנית וירד אליו בשבט ויגזל את־החנית מיד המצרי ויהרגהו בחניתו׃
Greek αυτος επαταξεν τον ανδρα τον αιγυπτιον ανδρα ορατον εν δε τη χειρι του αιγυπτιου δορυ ως ξυλον διαβαθρας και κατεβη προς αυτον εν ραβδω και ηρπασεν το δορυ εκ της χειρος του αιγυπτιου και απεκτεινεν αυτον εν τω δορατι
Latin Ipse quoque interfecit virum Ægyptium, virum dignum spectaculo, habentem in manu hastam : itaque cum descendisset ad eum in virga, vi extorsit hastam de manu Ægyptii, et interfecit eum hasta sua.
KJV And he slew an Egyptian, a goodly man: and the Egyptian had a spear in his hand; but he went down to him with a staff, and plucked the spear out of the Egyptian's hand, and slew him with his own spear.
