Hebrew ויאמר דוד אל־יהוה בראתו את־המלאך המכה בעם ויאמר הנה אנכי חטאתי ואנכי העויתי ואלה הצאן מה עשו תהי נא ידך בי ובבית אבי׃ ף
Greek και ειπεν δαυιδ προς κυριον εν τω ιδειν αυτον τον αγγελον τυπτοντα εν τω λαω και ειπεν ιδου εγω ειμι ηδικησα και εγω ειμι ο ποιμην εκακοποιησα και ουτοι τα προβατα τι εποιησαν γενεσθω δη η χειρ σου εν εμοι και εν τω οικω του πατρος
Latin Dixitque David ad Dominum cum vidisset angelum cædentem populum : Ego sum qui peccavi, ego inique egi : isti qui oves sunt, quid fecerunt ? Vertatur, obsecro, manus tua contra me, et contra domum patris mei.
