Hebrew ויען יעקב ויאמר ללבן כי יראתי כי אמרתי פן־תגזל את־בנותיך מעמי׃
Greek αποκριθεις δε ιακωβ ειπεν τω λαβαν ειπα γαρ μηποτε αφελης τας θυγατερας σου απ' εμου και παντα τα
Latin Respondit Jacob : Quod inscio te profectus sum, timui ne violenter auferres filias tuas.
KJV And Jacob answered and said to Laban, Because I was afraid: for I said, Peradventure thou wouldest take by force thy daughters from me.
