Hebrew ויאמר לא יעקב יאמר עוד שמך כי אם־ישראל כי־שרית עם־אלהים ועם־אנשים ותוכל׃
Greek ειπεν δε αυτω ου κληθησεται ετι το ονομα σου ιακωβ αλλα ισραηλ εσται το ονομα σου οτι ενισχυσας μετα θεου και μετα ανθρωπων
Latin At ille : Nequaquam, inquit, Jacob appellabitur nomen tuum, sed Israël : quoniam si contra Deum fortis fuisti, quanto magis contra homines prævalebis ?
KJV And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.
