Hebrew ויאמר הנה שמעתי כי יש־שבר במצרים רדו־שמה ושברו־לנו משם ונחיה ולא נמות׃
Greek ιδου ακηκοα οτι εστιν σιτος εν αιγυπτω καταβητε εκει και πριασθε ημιν μικρα βρωματα ινα ζωμεν και μη
Latin audivi quod triticum venundetur in Ægypto : descendite, et emite nobis necessaria, ut possimus vivere, et non consumamur inopia.
KJV And he said, Behold, I have heard that there is corn in Egypt: get you down thither, and buy for us from thence; that we may live, and not die.
