Hebrew ויאמר אליו פטרוס מדוע לא אוכל עתה ללכת אחריך הן נפשי בעד נפשך אתן׃
Greek λεγει αυτω πετρος κυριε δια τι ου δυναμαι σοι αρτι την ψυχην μου υπερ σου θησω
Latin Dicit ei Petrus : Quare non possum te sequi modo? animam meam pro te ponam.
KJV Peter said unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thy sake.
WEB Peter said to him, "Lord, why can't I follow you now? I will lay down my life for you."
