Hebrew ויחלו מהם לרק בו ויחפו את פניו ויכהו באגרף ויאמרו אליו הנבא והמשרתים הכאיבהו בהכותם אותו על הלחי׃
Greek και ηρξαντο τινες εμπτυειν αυτω και περικαλυπτειν αυτου το προσωπον και κολαφιζειν αυτον και λεγειν αυτω προφητευσον και οι υπηρεται ραπισμασιν αυτον ελαβον
Latin Et cœperunt quidam conspuere eum, et velare faciem ejus, et colaphis eum cædere, et dicere ei : Prophetiza : et ministri alapis eum cædebant.
KJV And some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to buffet him, and to say unto him, Prophesy: and the servants did strike him with the palms of their hands.
