Hebrew ויאמר מואב אל־זקני מדין עתה ילחכו הקהל את־כל־סביבתינו כלחך השור את ירק השדה ובלק בן־צפור מלך למואב בעת ההוא׃
Greek και ειπεν μωαβ τη γερουσια μαδιαμ νυν εκλειξει η συναγωγη αυτη παντας τους κυκλω ημων ως εκλειξαι ο μοσχος τα χλωρα εκ του πεδιου και βαλακ υιος σεπφωρ βασιλευς μωαβ ην κατα τον καιρον
Latin dixit ad majores natu Madian : Ita delebit hic populus omnes, qui in nostris finibus commorantur, quomodo solet bos herbas usque ad radices carpere. Ipse erat eo tempore rex in Moab.
KJV And Moab said unto the elders of Midian, Now shall this company lick up all that are round about us, as the ox licketh up the grass of the field. And Balak the son of Zippor was king of the Moabites at that time.
