לכן חביבי כאשר שמעתם לי בכל עת כן לא לבד בהיותי עמכם כי עוד יתר עתה אשר אני רחוק מכם תיגעו בתשועת נפשתיכם ביראה וברעדה׃

Greek ωστε αγαπητοι μου καθως παντοτε υπηκουσατε μη εν τη παρουσια μου μονον αλλα νυν πολλω μαλλον εν τη απουσια μου μετα φοβου και τρομου την εαυτων σωτηριαν κατεργαζεσθε
Latin Itaque carissimi mei (sicut semper obedistis), non ut in præsentia mei tantum, sed multo magis nunc in absentia mea, cum metu et tremore vestram salutem operamini.
