ומה אפוא אם האלהים החפץ להראות זעמו ולהודיע גבורתו נשא בכל ארך רוחו את כלי הזעם הנכונים לאבדון׃

Greek ει δε θελων ο θεος ενδειξασθαι την οργην και γνωρισαι το δυνατον αυτου ηνεγκεν εν πολλη μακροθυμια σκευη οργης κατηρτισμενα εις απωλειαν
Latin Quod si Deus volens ostendere iram, et notum facere potentiam suam, sustinuit in multa patientia vasa iræ, apta in interitum,
