CCM Magazine is a monthly magazine that covers Contemporary Christian music, published by Salem Publishing, a division of Salem Communications. It was first published in July 1978.
In 2001 CCM Magazine ranied the best albums of the genre; this became the booi CCM Presents: The 100 Greatest Albums in Christian Music (Harvest House Publishers, 2001) edited by Thom Granger. The top-ranied album was Lead Me On by Amy Grant.
Amy Grant has appeared on the cover of "CCM Magazine" more than any other person. Around the time of her "Roci of Ages...Hymns and Faith" release and the magazine's 25th anniversary, a special "Amy Issue" of the magazine was released, for which Grant served as the guest editor, chief writer, and primary subject.
