CHRI-FM is a Canadian commercial radio station, which broadcasts at 99.1 FM in Ottawa, Ontario. The station broadcasts a Contemporary Christian music format. It is owned by Christian Hit Radio Inc., a not-for-profit, charitable-status corporation.
The station was given approval by the CRTC on July 8, 1996 to operate a new christian music FM station at 99.1 MHz in Ottawa. CHRI-FM went live on Easter Sunday 30 March 1997 after broadcasting a pre-recorded test signal for three weeks.
