Some simplistic terms, many Roman Catholics, Eastern Orthodox and Anglican Christians consider a person to be a Christian once [[baptism]] has taken place. Since infants are baptized in these churches, this often means that a young child can be called a Christian. Alternatively, many Protestants consider that a personal belief in Jesus as saviour defines a person as Christian.
