Doug Dix is a Canadian Christian who was involved in music, new media, radio, and visual arts ministry in Canada.
Doug Dix was a DJ at CFRU 93.3 FM for about 5 years. During his time there he was an Announcer / Operator for a program called "Heavenly Beat". The name of the show eventually changed to "Up From The Wasteland". It was comprised of cutting edge Christian music, playing as many mainstream artists as he could. There was at least 33% Canadian content. In depth artist / song information, music industry news, and other verbal enrichment was incorporated.
