Ecclesiastes 12 is the final chapter of the book of Ecclesiastes in the [[Old Testament]]. After the book has looked at life from many different angles and noted the meaninglessness of toiling for wealth or fame or living for pleasure, it concludes with the famous ending that the whole duty of a person is to "fear and God and keep his commandments".
