Hebrew טוב ללכת אל־בית־אבל מלכת אל־בית משתה באשר הוא סוף כל־האדם והחי יתן אל־לבו׃
Greek αγαθον πορευθηναι εις οικον πενθους η οτι πορευθηναι εις οικον ποτου καθοτι τουτο τελος παντος του ανθρωπου και ο ζων δωσει εις καρδιαν
Latin Melius est ire ad domum luctus quam ad domum convivii ; in illa enim finis cunctorum admonetur hominum, et vivens cogitat quid futurum sit.
KJV It is better to go to the house of mourning, than to go to the house of feasting: for that is the end of all men; and the living will lay it to his heart.
