This is [[God]]'s nature and he calls [[Christian]]s to forgive like he does. The ultimate evidence of God's forgiving nature is in the [[cross]], where [[Jesus]] died so that we could be forgiven. In the [[Lord's Prayer]], Jesus asks us to pray, "Forgive us our sins and we forgive those who sin against us" ([[Matthew 6:12]]).
