The epistles of the New Testament are Christian writings of Apostles to churches in particular parts of the world. The most prolific apostle to write was Paul. Those not written by him are known as the general epistles and include Hebrew, James, 1 and 2 Peter, 1 and 2 and 3 John and Jude.
