Graham Kendrick was born 1950 and is a well known British Christian singer-songwriter and worship leader. He was born in [[Northamptonshire]], the son of a [[Baptist]] pastor. He began his songwriting career in 1972.
 
Kendrick's song [[Shine Jesus Shine]] is one of the most popular worship songs in [[Britain]]. Many other songs written by him are sung in churches across Britain and [[Australia]] every Sunday. Kendrick is a co-founder of the March for Jesus. He received a Dove Award in 1995 for his international work. In 2000 , Brunel University awarded Kendrick an honorary doctorate in Divinity in "recognition of his contribution to the worship life of the Church". He lives in South London.
