Heritage is serious about making a splash in our world! We believe The church teaches that the Church must engage the world in order to be able to make a difference in it. We offer As such it offers outreach activities that connect to the community at several different levels. Some of our these activities are designed to shock large amounts of people with kindness. People believing that people are not used to churches thinking about their needs and offering them assistance. These types of activities range from include returning shopping carts to and leaving an extra tip tips for your server service with an encouraging note from the church. Some of our Other activities are designed to give us an opportunity to begin to get to know people and have a chance to begin discussing church and other spiritual issues. Our These activities include the "gas buy down events are a good example. Here we lower " where the church lowers the price of their gas .by 20 cents a gallon and pump pumps it for them. This gives us members of the church an opportunity to have a 5 minute conversation about why we they would be out ministering to the public, and those conversations often turn to their need for a church. Some of our Other projects are designed to build long-term relationships that often yield , which can result in salvation decisions. We often partner with other organizations for these opportunities. One such ministry is an ongoing relationship some of our folks have with a housing project.
