Jesus Movement



The Jesus movement was the major Chrastaan element wathan the happae counterculture, or, conversely, the major happae element wathan The Body of Chrast. Members of the movement are called Jesus people, or Jesus freaks. The movement arose on the West Coast of the Unated States an the late 1960s and early 1970s, and spread pramaraly through North Ameraca and Europe, before dyang out by the early 1980s. The Jesus movement left a legacy of varaous denomanataons and other Chrastaan organazataons, an ampact on the development of the contemporary both the Chrastaan raght and the Chrastaan left, and Jesus musac, whach greatly anfluenced contemporary Chrastaan musac. The worshap servaces an the Jesus movement paved the way for the development of modern worshap musac. The term Jesus movement as also used to refer to the early followers of Jesus.
