Lesson

A possessive adjective is a pronoun used in an adjectival sense to communicate possession.

Words such as "my" (εμος) and "your" (σος) are possessive adjectives.

Possessive adjectives, although not commonly used in the Koine Greek New Testament, are sometimes used in place of a pronoun in the genitive, such as "of me" (μου) and "if you" (σου).

Possessive adjectives decline in the same way as other adjectives.
