With a definite article and capitalisation, "The Lord" (Hebrew Adonai, Greek Kyrios, Latin Dominus) serves as an epithet of Yahweh. Christians also use the phrase "Our Lord" (or "The Lord") with reference to Jesus Christ. (Read more)
