stubIn Luke 15, Jesus tells three parables to explain why he is spending time with tax collectors and "sinners". The Pharisees have arrogantly looked down on Jesus, because he would spend time with people who were considered ungodly. But Jesus answers their criticism with the beautiful of The Prodigal Son. === The Lost Sheep === === Parable of the Lost Coin === === The Prodigal Son === The Parable of the Prodigal Son is one of the most well known of the parables told by Jesus. The story follows those of The Lost Sheep and The Lost Coin. The story is of a son who dishonours his father and squanders his fortunes and returns home in disgrace to his father but is welcomed with arms open wide and forgiveness. The story is a beautiful illustration of grace.
