The Bible

The word Bible comes from the Greek word for book ("biblion") and refers to the collection of documents acknowledged by Christians to be inspired by God.

The King James Version of the Bible (KJV) is an English translation, commissioned for the parishioners of the Church of England at the request of King James I of England.

Join us in building a wiki version of the public domain World English Version of the Holy Bible.
