Hebrew ואין נתן יין חדש בנאדות בלים כי אז יבקע היין את הנאדות והיין ישפך והנאדות יאבדו אבל בנאדות חדשים ינתן היין החדש׃
Greek και ουδεις βαλλει οινον νεον εις ασκους παλαιους ει δε μη ρηξει ο οινος τους ασκους και ο οινος απολλυται και οι ασκοι οινον νεον εις ασκους [[Greek:{VAR2:|{VAR2:]] καινους
Latin Et nemo mittit vinum novum in utres veteres : alioquin dirumpet vinum utres, et vinum effundetur, et utres peribunt : sed vinum novum in utres novos mitti debet.
KJV And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles.
