Hebrew ויען ויאמר להם הנה אליהו בא בראשונה וישיב את הכל ומה כתוב על בן האדם הלא כי יענה הרבה וימאס׃
Greek ο δε εφη αυτοις ηλιας μεν ελθων πρωτον αποκαθιστανει παντα και πως γεγραπται επι τον υιον του ανθρωπου ινα πολλα παθη και εξουδενηθη
Latin Qui respondens, ait illis : Elias cum venerit primo, restituet omnia : et quomodo scriptum est in Filium hominis, ut multa patiatur et contemnatur.
KJV And he answered and told them, Elias verily cometh first, and restoreth all things; and how it is written of the Son of man, that he must suffer many things, and be set at nought.
