It's easy to be negative about megachurches if you don't go to one, and I don't. I guess I don't want to fall into that trap of always being negative though. If the motives behind leaders and members of a megachurch are to do with financial gain or political influence or fame and popularity, then clearly there is a real problem - like there was with many of the Pharisees in Jesus' day. But in cases where the growth represents God's work and the focus is on Jesus (and not the pastor), and the underlying motive of the leaders is faithfulness to God with pure hearts, then why should I be critical?!
