Monotheism (from the Greek: μόνος = single, θεός = God) is the belief in the existence of one deity or God. Three major monotheistic religions are Christianity, Islam and Judaism. In Deuteronomy 6:4 in the Old Testament we are told, "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one." (Read more)
