Synopsis: The decrees of God have been defined as His eternal purpose. The order of decrees refers to the logical relationship of the various aspects of God's one eternal purpose regarding the creation, predestination and salvation of man. The primary interest in the decrees of God usually relates to the understanding of divine predestination or divine election and its place in God's plan of redemption.
