Psalm 114 Text (WEB)
  1. When Israel went forth out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of foreign language;
  2. Judah became his sanctuary, Israel his dominion.
  3. The sea saw it, and fled. The Jordan was driven back.
  4. The mountains skipped like rams, the little hills like lambs.
  5. What was it, you sea, that you fled? You Jordan, that you turned back?
  6. You mountains, that you skipped like rams; you little hills, like lambs?
  7. Tremble, you earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob,
  8. who turned the rock into a pool of water, the flint into a spring of waters.

  1. בצאת ישראל ממצרים בית יעקב מעם לעז׃
  2. היתה יהודה לקדשו ישראל ממשלותיו׃

  5. מה־לך הים כי תנוס הירדן תסב לאחור׃

  7. מלפני אדון חולי ארץ מלפני אלוה יעקב׃
  8. ההפכי הצור אגם־מים חלמיש למעינו־מים׃

  3. η θαλασσα ειδεν και εφυγεν ο ιορδανης εστραφη εις τα
  4. τα ορη εσκιρτησαν ωσει κριοι και οι βουνοι ως αρνια
  5. τι σοι εστιν θαλασσα οτι εφυγες και σοι ιορδανη οτι ανεχωρησας εις τα
  6. τα ορη οτι εσκιρτησατε ωσει κριοι και οι βουνοι ως αρνια
  7. απο προσωπου κυριου εσαλευθη η γη απο προσωπου του θεου
  8. του στρεψαντος την πετραν εις λιμνας υδατων και την ακροτομον εις πηγας

  7. A facie Domini mota est terra, a facie Dei Jacob ;
  8. qui convertit petram in stagna aquarum, et rupem in fontes aquarum.
