Psalm 125 Text (WEB)
  1. Those who trust in Yahweh are as Mount Zion, which can't be moved, but remains forever.
  2. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so Yahweh surrounds his people from this time forth and forevermore.
  3. For the scepter of wickedness won't remain over the allotment of the righteous; so that the righteous won't use their hands to do evil.
  4. Do good, Yahweh, to those who are good, to those who are upright in their hearts.
  5. But as for those who turn aside to their crooked ways, Yahweh will lead them away with the workers of iniquity. Peace be on Israel. A Song of Ascents.

  1. שיר המעלות הבטחים ביהוה כהר־ציון לא־ימוט לעולם ישב׃
  2. ירושלם הרים סביב לה ויהוה סביב לעמו מעתה ועד־עולם׃
  3. כי לא ינוח שבט הרשע על גורל הצדיקים למען לא־ישלחו הצדיקים בעולתה ידיהם׃
  4. היטיבה יהוה לטובים ולישרים בלבותם׃
  5. והמטים עקלקלותם יוליכם יהוה את־פעלי האון שלום על־ישראל׃

  1. ωδη των αναβαθμων οι πεποιθοτες επι κυριον ως ορος σιων ου σαλευθησεται εις τον αιωνα ο κατοικων
  2. ορη κυκλω αυτης και κυριος κυκλω του λαου αυτου απο του νυν και εως του
  3. οτι ουκ αφησει την ραβδον των αμαρτωλων επι τον κληρον των δικαιων οπως αν μη εκτεινωσιν οι δικαιοι εν ανομια χειρας
  4. αγαθυνον κυριε τοις αγαθοις και τοις ευθεσι τη
  5. τους δε εκκλινοντας εις τας στραγγαλιας απαξει κυριος μετα των εργαζομενων την ανομιαν ειρηνη επι τον

  1. Canticum graduum. Qui confidunt in Domino, sicut mons Sion : non commovebitur in æternum, qui habitat
  2. in Jerusalem. Montes in circuitu ejus ; et Dominus in circuitu populi sui, ex hoc nunc et usque in sæculum.
  3. Quia non relinquet Dominus virgam peccatorum super sortem justorum ; ut non extendant justi ad iniquitatem manus suas,
  4. benefac, Domine, bonis, et rectis corde.
  5. Declinantes autem in obligationes, adducet Dominus cum operantibus iniquitatem. Pax super Israël !

  1. They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.
  2. As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.
  3. For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.
  4. Do good, O LORD, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.
  5. As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.
