  1. I will bless Yahweh at all times. His praise will always be in my mouth.
  2. My soul shall boast in Yahweh. The humble shall hear of it, and be glad.
  3. Oh magnify Yahweh with me. Let us exalt his name together.
  4. I sought Yahweh, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.
  5. They looked to him, and were radiant. Their faces shall never be covered with shame.
  6. This poor man cried, and Yahweh heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
  7. The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them.
  8. Oh taste and see that Yahweh is good. Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.
  9. Oh fear Yahweh, you his saints, for there is no lack with those who fear him.
  10. The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger, but those who seek Yahweh shall not lack any good thing.
  11. Come, you children, listen to me. I will teach you the fear of Yahweh.
  12. Who is someone who desires life, and loves many days, that he may see good?
  13. Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking lies.
  14. Depart from evil, and do good. seek peace, and pursue it.
  15. Yahweh's eyes are toward the righteous. His ears listen to their cry.
  16. Yahweh's face is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth.
  17. The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.
  18. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.
  19. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all.
  20. He protects all of his bones. Not one of them is broken.
  21. Evil shall kill the wicked. Those who hate the righteous shall be condemned.
  22. Yahweh redeems the soul of his servants. None of those who take refuge in him shall be condemned. By David.

  1. אברכה את־יהוה בכל־עת תמיד תהלתו בפי׃
  2. ביהוה תתהלל נפשי ישמעו ענוים וישמחו׃
  3. גדלו ליהוה אתי ונרוממה שמו יחדו׃
  4. דרשתי את־יהוה וענני ומכל־מגורותי הצילני׃
  5. הביטו אליו ונהרו ופניהם אל־יחפרו׃
  6. זה עני קרא ויהוה שמע ומכל־צרותיו הושיעו׃
  7. חנה מלאך־יהוה סביב ליראיו ויחלצם׃
  8. טעמו וראו כי־טוב יהוה אשרי הגבר יחסה־בו׃
  9. יראו את־יהוה קדשיו כי־אין מחסור ליראיו׃
  10. כפירים רשו ורעבו ודרשי יהוה לא־יחסרו כל־טוב׃
  11. לכו־בנים שמעו־לי יראת יהוה אלמדכם׃
  12. מי־האיש החפץ חיים אהב ימים לראות טוב׃
  13. נצר לשונך מרע ושפתיך מדבר מרמה׃
  14. סור מרע ועשה־טוב בקש שלום ורדפהו׃
  15. עיני יהוה אל־צדיקים ואזניו אל־שועתם׃
  16. פני יהוה בעשי רע להכרית מארץ זכרם׃
  17. צעקו ויהוה שמע ומכל־צרותם הצילם׃
  18. קרוב יהוה לנשברי־לב ואת־דכאי־רוח יושיע׃
  19. רבות רעות צדיק ומכלם יצילנו יהוה׃
  20. שמר כל־עצמותיו אחת מהנה לא נשברה׃
  21. תמותת רשע רעה ושנאי צדיק יאשמו׃
  22. פודה יהוה נפש עבדיו ולא יאשמו כל־החסים בו׃

  1. ευλογησω τον κυριον εν παντι καιρω δια παντος η αινεσις αυτου εν τω στοματι
  2. εν τω κυριω επαινεσθησεται η ψυχη μου ακουσατωσαν πραεις και
  3. μεγαλυνατε τον κυριον συν εμοι και υψωσωμεν το ονομα αυτου επι το
  4. εξεζητησα τον κυριον και επηκουσεν μου και εκ πασων των παροικιων μου ερρυσατο
  5. προσελθατε προς αυτον και φωτισθητε και τα προσωπα υμων ου μη
  6. ουτος ο πτωχος εκεκραξεν και ο κυριος εισηκουσεν αυτου και εκ πασων των θλιψεων αυτου εσωσεν
  7. παρεμβαλει αγγελος κυριου κυκλω των φοβουμενων αυτον και ρυσεται
  8. γευσασθε και ιδετε οτι χρηστος ο κυριος μακαριος ανηρ ος ελπιζει επ'
  9. φοβηθητε τον κυριον οι αγιοι αυτου οτι ουκ εστιν υστερημα τοις φοβουμενοις
  10. πλουσιοι επτωχευσαν και επεινασαν οι δε εκζητουντες τον κυριον ουκ ελαττωθησονται παντος αγαθου
  11. δευτε τεκνα ακουσατε μου φοβον κυριου διδαξω
  12. τις εστιν ανθρωπος ο θελων ζωην αγαπων ημερας ιδειν
  13. παυσον την γλωσσαν σου απο κακου και χειλη σου του μη λαλησαι
  14. εκκλινον απο κακου και ποιησον αγαθον ζητησον ειρηνην και διωξον
  15. οφθαλμοι κυριου επι δικαιους και ωτα αυτου εις δεησιν
  16. προσωπον δε κυριου επι ποιουντας κακα του εξολεθρευσαι εκ γης το μνημοσυνον
  17. εκεκραξαν οι δικαιοι και ο κυριος εισηκουσεν αυτων και εκ πασων των θλιψεων αυτων ερρυσατο
  18. εγγυς κυριος τοις συντετριμμενοις την καρδιαν και τους ταπεινους τω πνευματι
  19. πολλαι αι θλιψεις των δικαιων και εκ πασων αυτων ρυσεται
  20. κυριος φυλασσει παντα τα οστα αυτων εν εξ αυτων ου
  21. θανατος αμαρτωλων πονηρος και οι μισουντες τον δικαιον
  22. λυτρωσεται κυριος ψυχας δουλων αυτου και ου μη πλημμελησωσιν παντες οι ελπιζοντες επ'

  1. David, cum immutavit vultum suum coram Achimelech, et dimisit eum, et abiit.
  2. In Domino laudabitur anima mea : audiant mansueti, et lætentur.
  3. Magnificate Dominum mecum, et exaltemus nomen ejus in idipsum.
  4. Exquisivi Dominum, et exaudivit me ; et ex omnibus tribulationibus meis eripuit me.
  5. Accedite ad eum, et illuminamini ; et facies vestræ non confundentur.
  6. Iste pauper clamavit, et Dominus exaudivit eum, et de omnibus tribulationibus ejus salvavit eum.
  7. Immittet angelus Domini in circuitu timentium eum, et eripiet eos.
  8. Gustate, et videte quoniam suavis est Dominus ; beatus vir qui sperat in eo.
  9. Timete Dominum, omnes sancti ejus, quoniam non est inopia timentibus eum.
  10. Divites eguerunt, et esurierunt ; inquirentes autem Dominum non minuentur omni bono.
  11. Venite, filii, audite me ; timorem Domini docebo vos.
  12. Quis est homo qui vult vitam, diligit dies videre bonos ?
  13. Prohibe linguam tuam a malo, et labia tua ne loquantur dolum.
  14. Diverte a malo, et fac bonum ; inquire pacem, et persequere eam.
  15. Oculi Domini super justos, et aures ejus in preces eorum.
  16. Vultus autem Domini super facientes mala, ut perdat de terra memoriam eorum.
  17. Clamaverunt justi, et Dominus exaudivit eos ; et ex omnibus tribulationibus eorum liberavit eos.
  18. Juxta est Dominus iis qui tribulato sunt corde, et humiles spiritu salvabit.
  19. Multæ tribulationes justorum ; et de omnibus his liberabit eos Dominus.
  20. Custodit Dominus omnia ossa eorum : unum ex his non conteretur.
  21. Mors peccatorum pessima ; et qui oderunt justum delinquent.
  22. Redimet Dominus animas servorum suorum, et non delinquent omnes qui sperant in eo.

  3. O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.
  4. I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
  5. They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.
  6. This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
  7. The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
  8. O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
  9. O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.
  10. The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.
  11. Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
  12. What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?

  18. The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
  19. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.
  20. He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.
  21. Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.
  22. The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
