Psalm 49 tells the story that is common to humanity - that everyone dies. Yet it also tells of the great hope of [[eternal life]] - that those who trust in God will be saved. This echoes the [[New Testament]] which shows that [[faith]] in [[Jesus]], the Son of God, brings forgiveness and salvation.
