Psalm 54 Text (WEB)
  1. Save me, God, by your name. Vindicate me in your might.
  2. Hear my prayer, God. Listen to the words of my mouth.
  3. For strangers have risen up against me. Violent men have sought after my soul. They haven't set God before them. Selah.
  4. Behold, God is my helper. The Lord is the one who sustains my soul.
  5. He will repay the evil to my enemies. Destroy them in your truth.
  6. With a free will offering, I will sacrifice to you. I will give thanks to your name, Yahweh, for it is good.
  7. For he has delivered me out of all trouble. My eye has seen triumph over my enemies. For the Chief Musician. On stringed instruments. A contemplation by David.

  1. בבוא הזיפים ויאמרו לשאול הלא דוד מסתתר עמנו׃
  2. אלהים בשמך הושיעני ובגבורתך תדינני׃
  3. אלהים שמע תפלתי האזינה לאמרי־פי׃
  4. כי זרים קמו עלי ועריצים בקשו נפשי לא שמו אלהים לנגדם סלה׃
  5. הנה אלהים עזר לי אדני בסמכי נפשי׃
  6. הרע לשררי באמתך הצמיתם׃
  7. בנדבה אזבחה־לך אודה שמך יהוה כי־טוב׃

  1. ο θεος εν τω ονοματι σου σωσον με και εν τη δυναμει σου κρινον
  2. ο θεος εισακουσον της προσευχης μου ενωτισαι τα ρηματα του στοματος
  3. οτι αλλοτριοι επανεστησαν επ' εμε και κραταιοι εζητησαν την ψυχην μου ου προεθεντο τον θεον ενωπιον αυτων
  4. ιδου γαρ ο θεος βοηθει μοι και ο κυριος αντιλημπτωρ της ψυχης
  5. αποστρεψει τα κακα τοις εχθροις μου εν τη αληθεια σου εξολεθρευσον
  6. εκουσιως θυσω σοι εξομολογησομαι τω ονοματι σου κυριε οτι
  7. οτι εκ πασης θλιψεως ερρυσω με και εν τοις εχθροις μου επειδεν ο οφθαλμος

  3. Quoniam alieni insurrexerunt adversum me, et fortes quæsierunt animam meam, et non proposuerunt Deum ante conspectum suum.
  4. Ecce enim Deus adjuvat me, et Dominus susceptor est animæ meæ.
  5. Averte mala inimicis meis ; et in veritate tua disperde illos.
  6. Voluntarie sacrificabo tibi, et confitebor nomini tuo, Domine, quoniam bonum est.
  7. Quoniam ex omni tribulatione eripuisti me, et super inimicos meos despexit oculus meus.

  2. Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.
  3. For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah.
  4. Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.
  5. He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth.
  6. I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O LORD; for it is good.
  7. For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath seen his desire upon mine enemies.
