Added information regarding possible dates of the resurrection
Jesus was crucified in Jerusalem around the year 30 AD. Three days later he appeared to his disciples, risen from the dead (Luke 24:46). He sent his disciples out into the world and today millions of people today know the risen Lord Christ and celebrate his resurrection on Easter Sunday.

Dating of the resurrection
The New Testament fails to chronicle the date of which Jesus was crucified and when he was resurrected. However, may historians have attempted to place a date on both events. The two most commonly given dates for the resurrection are April 9, 30 AD and April 5, 33 AD.
