1 John 5:7 is heavily disputed, and that version should not be used on a page talking about the Trinity. Compare RSV, NIV, KJV. NIV puts it in the footnotes, RSV doesn't even include that version in the footnotes!

Trinity Analogy Section

Thanks Stmannew for your additions. I wonder if we should make a few edits to the section added. Perhaps changing "It seems that the best way to think of what the Trinity is, are in the terms of an analogy" to "one way of thinking of the Trinity is in terms of an analogy". Secondly it may be worth noting some of the problems with analogies of this sort in the way they can result in modalism. And thirdly just a few grammar changes such as using "who" instead of "which" and using the definite article. Comments from others? --Graham 11:54, 1 January 2009 (PST)
