Psalm 103 is a Psalm of David. In it David gives thanks for all God has done for him. God does the same for you and me as He did for David. He forgives our iniquities, heals our diseases, regains our lives from destruction, gives us food and nourishment, judges our enemies--and He does it all with lovingkindness and tender mercy. The Lord is merciful and gracious and slow to anger. Thanks be to Him that He has not dealt with us according to our sins, but in loving mercy.
I believe Psalm 103 is one of the greatest Psalms written by David. In it David captures some of the greatness of God. WE Should read it often as a constant reminder of what God has done for us.
Psalm 104 is a continuation of David's praise for God. Again in this chapter David had great insights into the greatness of God. He knew God laid the foundations of the earth (verse 5). He knew God caused the grass to grow to feed the cattle, and the herbs to grow for the service of man (verse 14).
