Changes

(1.) A town in the Shephelah, or [[Text:EBD:Plain (EBD)|plain]] country of [[Text:EBD:Judah (EBD)|Judah]] (Josh. 15:44); probably the same as [[Text:EBD:Chezib (EBD)|Chezib]] of Gen. 38:5 = Ain Kezbeh.

(2.) A [[Text:EBD:Phoenicia (EBD)|Phoenician]] [[Text:EBD:City (EBD)|city]] (the Gr. Ecdippa), always retained in their possession though assigned to the [[Text:EBD:Tribe (EBD)|tribe]] of [[Text:EBD:Asher (EBD)|Asher]] (Josh. 19:29; Judg. 1:31). It is identified with the modern es-Zib, on the [[Text:EBD:wikipedia:Mediterranean|Mediterranean]], about 8 miles north of [[Accho (EBD)|Accho]].
