Changes

[[Text:EBD:Lord (EBD)|Lord]] of [[Text:EBD:Bezek (EBD)|Bezek]], a [[Text:EBD:Canaanites (EBD)|Canaanitish]] [[Text:EBD:King (EBD)|king]] who, having subdued seventy of the chiefs that were around him, made an attack against the armies of [[Text:EBD:Judah (EBD)|Judah]] and [[Text:EBD:Simeon (EBD)|Simeon]], but was defeated and brought as a [[Text:EBD:Captive (EBD)|captive]] to [[Text:EBD:Jerusalem (EBD)|Jerusalem]], where his thumbs and great toes were cut off. He confessed that [[Text:EBD:God (EBD)|God]] had requited him for his like cruelty to the seventy kings whom he had subdued (Judg. 1:4-7; comp. 1 Sam. 15:33).
