Welcome to "The Spirit Calls" Radio Ministry.

Proclaiming the Gospel of Christ through the moving of God's Spirit

Thank you for your interest in "The Spirit Calls" a ministry of Mount Zion Chapel in Wells Maine. You have been redirected from Mount Zion Chapel's website to our brand new site. To return, click on the link above.

This program is hosted by Mike Biasin and Charlene Chute. We are grateful to Bill Metz of Walk With Christ Gospel Radio for picking up the program and sending it out around the world. We're working our way to being able to have our weekly program aired on local radio station WSEW 88.7 FM. Mike has been in communication with the folks at the station which he has listened to since 1992 and become good friends with them.

Mike's interest in radio began back in the early to mid 1990s when he had a brief internship at WCDQ, a local rock station in Sanford Maine. Mike would take CDs off the shelf and set them aside for the program director, occasionally run the board, but never got on the microphone. A few years later, Mike applied to the School of Broadcasting and was not accepted. Mike then focused on music, being a keyboard player and backup vocalist. Radio was the last thing on his mind for many years.

Then, shortly after moving to Wells, during church prayer time, some people came to Mike and mentioned that they felt he was to be in radio ministry. Mike accepted the word but did not know how it would come to pass. Years later after a very unusual spiritual journey had begun for Mike, the Lord began to speak to him about The Spirit Calls. After 2 years, Mike spoke with Charlene Chute, one of his best friends, and they began work on the first program, and the ministry was born.
