I am a United Methodist pastor educated in a Presbyterian seminary. I am a committed Wesleyan-Arminian evangelical, and like to be open and respectful to the emphases of other Christian traditions (Calvinism, Lutheranism, Anglicanism, Eastern Orthodoxy, Roman Catholicism, Baptist, whatever), hopeful that we agree on what I would call essentials (Incarnation, Trinity, Atonement, Resurrection, etc.). I joined the WikiChristian community on 23 March 2005.

where one was reading Luther's preface to the Epistle to the Romans.

while he was describing the change which God works in the heart through faith in Christ,

I felt my heart strangely warmed.
