Whatever is between the two "no include" tags will not be transcluded to the articles the template is used on. I tried it with [[TemplateWikiChristian:Video of the day]] and it worked; the main page is no longer in the video of the day category :)
Now, I know on your Wikipedia user page it says you do not want to be an admin, but I think you could really help out here with the extra tools (working on the protected templates, deleting all the spam articles you're always coming across, etc.). Would you like me to make you a sysop?
