Washington is a state in the Northwest of the [[United States]]. It should not be confused with Washington, D.C., the nation's capital city. Christians account for about two-thirds of the population with two-thirds of them [[Protestant]] and one-third [[Roman Catholic]]. There is also a large [[Mormon]] population. A quarter of the population identify themselves as [[non-religious]].
