Hebrew ועתה כה־תאמר לעבדי לדויד ס כה אמר יהוה צבאות אני לקחתיך מן־הנוה מן־אחרי הצאן להיות נגיד על עמי ישראל׃
Greek και νυν ουτως ερεις τω δουλω μου δαυιδ ταδε λεγει κυριος παντοκρατωρ ελαβον σε εκ της μανδρας εξοπισθεν των ποιμνιων του ειναι εις ηγουμενον επι τον λαον μου
Latin Nunc itaque sic loqueris ad servum meum David : Hæc dicit Dominus exercituum : Ego tuli te, cum in pascuis sequereris gregem, ut esses dux populi mei Israël.
